Have an FT Searching problem that i hope someone can help with.
The issue is that a database which has replicas on 2 servers returns different results when executing the same search/query. The problem is reproducable both when using FTSearch in a web agent and when using the Notes Client's search facility.
eg I open a view in the Notes Client (on both replicas). I do a Select All and they both indicate 1402 documents in the view. I then bring up the search bar and search for XYZ. The replica on Server A returns 255 documents, the replica on Server B only 66 documents.
* The data in both databases is indentical.
* The FT Indexing options on both databases are identical too.
* Both databases have their FT Indexes updated Daily at the same time every morning.
Both servers are 8.5.2FP1.
* Server A is running Windows 2003
* Server B is running Windows Longhorn 64 bit
We've tried deleting the FT index and re-creating it but that didnt fix the problem.
I cant think of any logical reason why they are returning different search results... unless there is something else that i'm missing such as a server configuration parameter?
Thanks
Martin
